Office fit-out in Liberia: a head office from bare shell
Office fit-out in Liberia, taken from design to opening day: King Sign & Design delivered the Diaconia MDI head office on Johnson Street, near the Ashmun Street junction in Monrovia — the headquarters of a licensed microfinance deposit-taking institution, built from the shell through construction, fit-out, façade and signage.
Inside, the shell was turned into a working head office: a public banking hall with teller counters, staff floors above, a boardroom, and the suspended ceilings, lighting, flooring, wall finishes and glazed partitions throughout — along with the feature walls that carry the DMDI identity through the building. Outside, the façade was clad, the frontage glazed, and illuminated 3D signage fabricated and installed across three elevations.
A head office has to satisfy two things at once — the operational requirements of a regulated financial institution and the staff who work there daily, and a public banking floor customers walk into and trust. Both were handled on one contract, by one team.
This is the clearest example on our portfolio of all three divisions working the same building: construction and interior fit-out, aluminum fabrication and glazing, and the signage and printed graphics that give the head office its presence on the street.
